This course is designed to provide an introduction to new users of the ApplicationVantage product. Through a mix of lecture and hands-on exercises, you will learn how to effectively leverage ApplicationVantage to diagnose performance problems and perform pre-production application profiling.

Prerequisites:
Attendees should have the following background for this course:
- Basic WindowsTM operations (Searching, Cut/Copy/Paste Directory and File structure creation and manipulation)
- Experience installing Microsoft WindowsTM based applications
- Conceptual understanding of n-tier environments
- Working knowledge of networks (LAN/WAN, frame relay, TCP/IP, routing, Internet architecture and protocols, etc)
