Optimal Trace 101

Learn the key features and functions of the Optimal Trace system.  Students will learn how to create and manage structured requirements, document generation and reuse, reporting, collaboration, product integrations, test case generation, administrative functions and customizing templates and profiles.  Includes Best Practices guidelines and recommendations.

Learn the basic functionality of the QALoad performance testing product, including how to create scripts and execute tests against a web based application.

Additional mentoring blocks may be purchased and combined with training classes for our automated testing products: QACenter, Reconcile, TestPartner, QARun, QALoad, File-AID/CS, DevPartner Studio, DevPartner Java™ Edition and TrackRecord. These blocks may be added as hands-on mentoring sessions delivered individually or in small groups. Typically, hands-on mentoring provides the opportunity to apply concepts used in the classroom to the actual client environment.

Learn the key features and functions of the Reconcile system, in conjunction with QACenter 101 or 102 courses. Students will learn how to create and manage requirements as well as how to administer the Reconcile system. Also includes a Student Education Guide, and hands-on workshops to reinforce materials presented.

This instructor-led course is designed to cover two levels of functionality of the QARun product. More advanced concepts are covered in the last three days. When the course is taken in its entirety, students will learn how to take full advantage of the powerful features within QARun.

QACenter for z/OS sessions introduce students to the Compuware tools for requirements definition, test management, test data analysis, defect tracking and test automation for testing traditional 3270 applications.

Learn the basic functionality of the TestPartner functional testing product, including how to record quality scripts for playback.

Administrators and users of the TrackRecord system will learn how to customize, administer and implement TrackRecord. Day one is focused on administration of the TrackRecord system. Day two is intended for TrackRecord users from testers through project managers.
