To use the OptimalJ development environment, the following configurations can be used:
Operating System
Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Hardware
- Intel Pentium III or higher
- 512 MB of physical memory
- Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 or better
- 250 MB of free disk space
- Additional 250 MB free disk space on the system disk during the installation process.
Software
Sun J2SE v 1.4.1 or 1.4.2 SDK
The minimum requirements will let you use the OptimalJ product to develop and run a small, enterprise Java-based web application (including webserver, servlet engine and EJB server). For larger applications we recommend a faster cpu and more memory.
System Requirements for OptimalJ Architecture Edition
To use the OptimalJ Architecture edition, the following configurations can be used:

- 350 MB of free disk space
- Additional 350 MB free disk space on the system disk during the installation process.
